Old Fashioned Rebel
An Irish orchard twist on the Old Fashioned. Killahora Pom’O and Dead Rabbit Irish Whiskey are stirred down with sugar syrup, bitters, and a dash of water for a rich, slow-sipping drink. Best enjoyed over a single cube, late in the evening.
Ingredients:
- 30ml Killahora Orchards Pom’O
- 30ml Dead Rabbit Irish Whiskey
- 5ml sugar syrup
- Dash of Off the Cuff Irish Bitters
- Dash of water
Method:
- Add 5ml sugar syrup, a dash of Off the Cuff Irish Bitters and a dash of water to a mixing glass.
- Add 30ml Killahora Orchards Pom’O and 30ml Dead Rabbit Irish Whiskey.
- Fill the mixing glass with ice.
- Stir for about 20–30 seconds until well chilled and slightly diluted.
- Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
- Garnish with a lemon or orange twist.
